I am glad to inform you that Pediatric Society of Bosnia & Herzegovina (PSBH) after long lasting administrative activities registered on May 25th 2006 at Ministry of Justice of BiH and since then it has right to act on the territory of entire BiH.
We are now legal successor of PSBiH , that was registered at Cantonal (regional) court in Sarajevo and when its registration has expired it was not extended. Federal Ministry of justice after reconsideration of request for registration proclaimed itself incompetent because the name of Association includes ” Bosnia and Herzegovina”.That request was forwarded to Ministry of justice of BiH that finally registered Society after eight months.
It’s clear that society with attention to work on teritory of entire state can not be registrated in one canton-region. You have chance to for the first time in the history of this state to see web pages of legally registered PSBiH. This pages will inform you about work of Society. You can also make contact with president and secretary and follow information about the nextThird Congress of Pediatricians in BiH that will take a place in 2010 year in Bosnia and Hercegovina.
I believe that Society is going to be one of the most active in the region, and will work for the benefit of pediatricians, but first of all for the benefit of children, they are reason of our existence. Children are our future so we must do our best for them.
